Plesk, cPanel and Other Control Panels on a Cloud Server

1 min read 72 reads 3 questions answered

The panel list follows the operating system

Control panels sit in their own block on the cloud server configurator. Linux and Windows do not show the same list. Only one hosting panel can be selected at a time. NextCloud and CyberPanel can still be added on Linux alongside that choice.

Plesk and cPanel

  • Plesk Panel: 25 USD per month, on Linux and Windows
  • cPanel: 40 USD per month, on Linux only

The two licenses cannot be checked together. Choosing cPanel clears Plesk, and choosing Plesk clears cPanel. The price is added to the monthly summary, and yearly billing multiplies the whole total by ten.

Linux applications

NextCloud and CyberPanel appear on Linux and cost 0 USD per month. NextCloud is for files and team space; CyberPanel is for website management. They do not replace each other, so both can stay on.

Windows and SolidCP

With Windows Server 2016, 2019 or 2022, cPanel, NextCloud and CyberPanel are hidden. Plesk Panel and SolidCP remain. SolidCP is 0 USD per month and belongs to the hosting-panel group, so it is not combined with Plesk.

You do not need to hunt for the license after the server is created. The choice goes to the cart with the operating system on the cloud server order.
